The Australia Standards
The StandardsMark has been Australia’s symbol of safety and quality for many years, with first triangular version being introduced to consumers in 1966 when the company first entered the product certification market.
The current ‘five ticks’ StandardsMark first appeared in Australia in 1987. The StandardsMark was originally introduced to offer industry and consumers assurance that the products they were purchasing met specified Australian and/or international standards.
The “Five Ticks” StandardsMark for product certification is a globally recognised symbol of safety and quality and demonstrates that the product and its production processes have been rigorously assessed to recognised national or international Standards.
The StandardsMark is more than a manufacturer’s claim, giving consumers extra confidence in the safety and performance of the product they are purchasing. It is available only through certification by SAI Global.
